The Aprilia Atlantic is a two wheel scooter that features a variety of engine options. The Atlantic can be optioned with a 125cc, 250cc, 400cc, or 500cc engine. The 125cc engine, as expected, is the most fuel efficient option; the 50cc powerplant returnins 112 miles per gallon. The 500 cc engine returns a much lower figure, averaging a still respectable 60 miles per gallon. The largest engine produces 39 horsepower, and gives the scooter the capability to handle both city and highway driving comfortably. Other features found on the Atlantic include a 1.7 cubic foot luggage storage compartment, an automatic transmission, and a single shock rear suspension.
