Lambretta GP

The Lambretta GP was originally manufactured in Italy in 1969. Bertone based the GP styling on the L1 series III frame, but with shorter forks, a square headlight, smaller and narrower leg shields and a lesser mudguard. Smooth cowls sported faux plastic air vents on the sides. Plastic parts substituted for metal in areas such as the glove box, taillight and horn cover. Slightly flatter and smaller seats appeared on the Lambretta GP. Several changes increased the power of the motor. The Lambretta GP 200, the fastest of the Lambrettas, can reach a speed of nearly 70 miles per hour. GP 125‘s and 150‘s were also produced. Some minor alterations contributed to an impressive new design in the Lambretta GP.
