Having supplied vehicles to the Austro-Hungarian army during WW1, Johannes Puch‘s original factory producing a huge number of bikes and cars in early twentieth century. After the wars, the world saw a massive surge in the production of mopeds and motorcycles, and the Puch company jumped on this chance. The MS 50 moped was released in 1954 and was known as the Baby Puch due to its smaller size. With the success of the moped, Puch started to release a line of two-stroke single scooters in the late fities.
