Triumph has introduced the Thruxton, which is the newest model in Triumph‘s Special Edition family. The new 2010 Triumph Thruxton SE features bold new graphics that look amazing. It has a powder-coated red frame and white bodywork that stands out against the blacked-out engine cases. There is a red racing stripe that flows down the center of the tank that hints at the power of this machine. Also included in the SE model is a windscreen. The 2010 Thruxton SE is still powered by a fuel-injected 865cc engine. The infamous Triumph rolling chassis, which features the stylish spoked wheels and dual rear shocks that provide the classic feel, is still present on this model. The new higher-positioned handlebar complete with risers, has been carried over to this model from the 2009 Thruxton model. These engines are produced in 675cc, 1050cc, and 2294cc displacements; the triple cylinder engine is Triumph‘s trademark, filling a gap between American and European twin cylinder engines and the Japanese four cylinder engines. The Triumph Triple is a high tech unit featuring dual overhead cam shafts, an in-line engine configuration, and a liquid cooling system.
